We encouraged our clients to expand CS in the past two years as the “recession started to raise its ugly head.

The small added costs were quickly compensated with Increased sales, more Importantly increased REPEAT sales.

And we all know the repeat customer represents a very HIGH ROI

Have been seeing way too much of #4 and I know personally I’ve contacted people for products this month and never heard back…if I don’t hear back within 24 hrs I move on to someone who does want my business!

Fear of failure OR fear of success are huge with women business owners and it results in a lot of women who do business with one foot on the accelarator and the other on the brake at the same time. It’s painful.

This is a big part of why I wrote my book.

I strongly believe that our business growth doesn’t happen any faster than our personal result – so, if a woman (or man) in business is fealing fear its possible that it’s maybe a sign that something is up. But I believe its even more probably that the fear just is about feeling outside of our comfort zone.

I just learned to text a few months ago. Not because I couldn’t figure it out or anything – but because it’s one more way to endlessly be in contact with people in these little snippets. I admit – they’re kind of cute and fun. But when you add all of it up – it gets to be a little much.

This is why I sometimes pack up my laptop and go work somewhere pretty and relaxing for a few hours. My favorite place is the Lake Las Vegas Loews Hotel. It’s beautiful and their internet connection and cell phone reception suck eggs – so it’s a perfect place to spend a few hours or an overnight stay and write or do whatever. In fact, I wrote a few of the chapters of my book there. I think being near the water – which we have very little of – helps, too.

That book was a big eye opener for me.

It’s so easy to have a distorted view of what it takes to have love in our lives. The media gives women the impression if you’re not a size two or zero your hopeless. Yet there are skinny, emaciated women all over the pages of People who can’t get a man or keep a man. Ever heard of Jenifer Anniston?

Ladies, I’m a size 16 and Ernie can’t keep his hands off me. And when we met I was even bigger. So that’s not the determining factor. What really makes a person (male or female) someone others want to truly love is by being emotionally available. That’s the key.

So many women whine, “Why won’t he make a commitment?” Well, the truth is if they really wanted a commitment and marriage they wouldn’t waste their time on a guy who was uncommitted. She’s just uncommitted herself and she makes it look and feel like he’s the one with the problem. That’s twisted..
