Hi Mitch - good to "see" you here ol' buddy. *wink*

I don't know if no one was as qualified for the Nobel Peace Prize this year - because I don't know who the 205 candidates on the list were. I do feel Obama is certainly visible as encouraging peace and getting along. He's leading a massive wave of change - and really pegged it right during the campaign. Now is the time for him to be effective with action. He's working his tail off - but there's just so much to DO. *smile*

Way to go, Denise. Some people are so short sighted with things like this, and I also wrote about it, though in my own way. There was no one else as deserving of the prize as he was over the past year, and anyone missing it isn't paying attention to what the world was like even a year ago. I'm proud of this post; thanks.

Hi DeAnna: The "toothpaste" analogy has been around awhile. Wish I could say I dreamed it up - but I didn't. *smile*

As for the post - it's something I've been thinking about since Obama won the election almost a year ago - but haven't been quite sure how to write about it. But when the nut jobs on the right can't find a way to be gracious towards our President when he wins the highest honor on the planet... awwwww, c'mon.

This is such a wonderful post, Denise. I especially like when you say, "You can't stuff the toothpaste back into the tube." Honestly, I don't know where you come up with this stuff, but you come up with the most interesting phrases.
